A few months before the war began, a rare and unexpected meeting took place on the border between Gaza and Israel. Different from anything you could imagine. A story over 70 years in the making, TELLING NONIE follows the story of Geizi Tsafrir, a former Israeli intelligence attaché who served on the Israel-Gaza border in the 1050’s. Haunted by his troubled conscience, Geizi decides to take on one last mission, to invite to Israel the daughter of the Egyptian Colonel he took part in killing, and to confess to his role in the assassination. Their newly-formed bond allows Geizi to re-examine his basic assumptions, the historical narrative as he knows it, and to open his heart to the daughter of the enemy he killed.
