Hosted by five-time Emmy Award nominee Cat Deeley, this show-within-a-show comedy follows Ben, an electrician from Baltimore, who believes he is competing for a $100,000 prize on a popular game show. In reality, he is surrounded by a cast of skilled improv comedians. Over the course of ten episodes, viewers get a groundbreaking behind-the-scenes look as the actors and crew scramble to keep Ben from discovering the hoax. The increasingly outrageous format of the “game show” makes it harder to maintain the ruse, while the cast members—whom Ben sees as competitors—improvise strategies to ensure his victory as the stakes grow higher.
