Well-loved lifestyle columnist Kayleigh King, the woman behind New York Globe’s popular column “Your Best Self” loses her job two weeks before Christmas thanks to the paper’s new Editor-in-Chief Tripp Windham who’s been brought in to cut costs. Kayleigh goes home to be with her family in Pineberry and shortly thereafter, Tripp realizes he’s made a big mistake. He wants Kayleigh back on the job - but she refuses to take his calls. Tripp travels to Pineberry to ask her in person. Upon his arrival, Kayleigh makes it clear she has no interest in giving him the time of day. However, before long, they find themselves falling in love just in time for Christmas.
